The air spring system is engineered to optimize air spring performance as it reads and adapts to road, vehicle and driver inputs. Its quality and performance meets the specific needs of the Firestone Airide™ spring’s broad customer base as only the world’s largest air spring supplier can provide.

 Electronic sensors, intelligent controls and a properly sized valve block offer precision kneeling and height adjustment. The precision conserves air system pressure, allowing for faster height change and increased compressor life.

Multiple vehicle heights are available with a push of a button. The Intelliride system has automatic load levelling at each height. The vehicle maintains a selected height and vehicle stance regardless of load.

The Intelliride system continuously monitors inputs and component performance as a means of increasing safety and durability. The system recognizes and responds accordingly to potholes, cross-articulation and extended turns. This intelligence prevents unnecessary activity and air consumption. The system even recognizes unachievable heights, assisting in the prevention of possible entrapment abovoe or below the vehicle.

Various signals from the vehicles can be read, such as the vehicle speed, door and brake. The result is increased safety measures, including automatically returning the vehicle to the OEM specified ride height from a kneeled position when a certain speed is reached.
