History

Drive-Rite was founded in 1990.The company experienced rapid growth since its establishment and moved to a purpose-built facility in January 2008, in Unit 626, Kilshane Avenue, North West Business Park, Ballycoolin, Dublin 15.

Over the past 16 years, the company has become a leading air suspension system supplier in the European market. The use of air springs as part of vehicle suspension provides benefits such as improved vehicle handling and the option of lowering vehicles such as  ambulances or truck for loading/unloading.  As a result of close co-operation with Firestone (FSIP), one of the world's leading air spring suppliers, Drive-Rite has developed an extensive customer base for its air suspension, many of which have Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEM) approval along with TÜV (Technisher Überwachungs-Verein) certification.

Over the past eight years Drive-Rite has seen tremendous growth in the use of its Air Helper Systems as variable load supports for all types of Vehicular Applications. Due to the request of a number of Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM's) Drive-Rite has progressed into the development of Full Air Suspensions and Systems. Drive-Rite work very closely with the OEM's Engineering Team to provide Suspension Kits that give a smooth comfortable ride, are easy to install, user friendly and comply with the wishes and concerns of the OEMs. As such, Drive-Rite has received Approvals from Renault, Opel, Fiat, Peugeot and Nissan to name but a few. Indeed Drive-Rite holds three Renault Accord Techniques for the Master and Trafic vehicle models.

Drive-Rite also has achieved European Approval on their popular Suspension kits to ensure acceptability by both the OEM and the Vehicle Convertors. This ensures free movement of the Vehicles throughout the European Community. TUV and UTAC Approvals are also held on the Suspension systems, to ensure compatibility with all EEC Braking Regulations.

The Drive-Rite Product Range is supported by an extensive European Network of Distributors and highly trained Fitting Centres, that cater for the needs of the local market and provide a complete After-Sales Program. Drive-Rite has a Worldwide Customer Base, covering all sectors of the Automotive Industry.
